Deseret First - BYU vs Utah

Okay, so what if you are number 5 in offensive line recruiting, We are talking about recruiting in general. Plus I am pretty sure that being 28th in recruiting is below 25 (As posted by someone else). Plus BYU has a lot of returning missionaries on scholarships which is why the aren't ranked in the top 50.

I love how he says: "You have fans when you win, same as the utes." That's basically a confession that byu is always successful and utah is sometimes (but not right now).

So tell me Roxnostalgia, how many fans were at the ASU game? (You won anyway)Why were there more byu fans than utah fans at the byu vs utah basketball game in 2011? I think the facts will startle you.

Hey, tell me how many sellouts you have had at the Huntsman Center in the last 6 years. My guess is probably less than 12. Byu had at least 6 last season, 2 this season, plus not to even mention other seasons. So you get mad at byu fans for throwing stuff on a basketball court, while you get away with pouring beer on Max Hall's family? Interesting. I am pretty sure getting beer poured on you is a lot worse than throwing something on the court.

I really don't think you should say that about us because Utah basketball is 10 times more embarrassing. PS: I don't think you should make comments on our fans when Utah barely gets any people into their arena. AT LEAST WE HAVE FANS!!!

I looked at the game schedule, and BYU has 6 home games in the duel while Utah has 7. I know its not a huge difference, but if Utah knew how to protect their home field, they would have the upper hand. Out of the 3 games played in Salt Lake so far, BYU has won 2 (the one loss was in women's gymnastics, because that's the only sport Utah can consistently beat us at!).

BYU has virtually locked up a 3rd straight Deseret First Duel Title and 4 out of 5 overall. Utah fans really need to shut their mouth because we are obviously the better school. WE CAN ARGUE ABOUT IT ALL WE WANT ON THE WEBSITE, BUT ULTIMATELY IT COMES DOWN TO PROVING IT ON THE FIELD!!!

With the events that wrapped up on Saturday, BYU has now guaranteed at least a share of the 5th Deseret First Duel. And, let's be honest, Utah doesn't have a good enough athletic program to sweep the remainder of the series!

Who wants to know who has the better athletic program? Okay, I'll spell it out for you. In the duel, BYU has won 3 of the first 4 and already has at least a share (likely a win) in the 5th title. Now for the two major sports: BYU and Utah split basketball and football, but who has a better record in both sports? Who was/is ranked higher in both? Who do people across the country get to see on ESPN? Who isn't finishing with losing conference records in both sports? BYU is the answer to all of those. When we are about to lock up 4 of the first 5 trophies in the Duel, I don't think Utah fans can even start to make an argument.

Utah the only reason why you guys almost had the chance to go to the Pac-12 championship is because USC was on probation and UCLA did better than you guys all around. You guys lost to Colorado which is a Joke! Utah cant win a Pac-12 Championship and I bet never will. BYU finished in the top 25 and you guys did not. Utah football sucks! National championships BYU 1 Utah 0. All of the other sports BYU like 15 Utah 2. So all around BYU is the main team in Utah and Utah is not. You guys are just sad. and also BYU has one of the best recruiting in the country. So put that in your books. BYU is #1 in Utah and Utah is #3 behind #2 Utah State. So you guys say that you are the best in the state. well that is total lies. You guys suck.

You are right Harvey's baby. I am jealous of your crap lousy basketball conference which totally sucks. I'm jealous of your loss to Colorado in football. I'm jealous of your 5-14 basketball record. I'm jealous that your only good sport is gymnastics. I am jealous that BYU was ranked higher than the U of U in every single final football rankings including the BCS. I am jealous that we are the #1 Volleyball team in the country and U don't even have a team. I am totally jealous that we have won the Deseret Duel every year except one. And now we have basically won it this year too. To conclude U R absolutely right I'm jealous that U are losing in the Pac-12 and we r still winning. Utes Suck!!!!!!!!!
